Rocker Guards - Which One?

Which of the following three would you recommend?

A/T Slider Rocker Guards by Olympic and Other Jeep Parts and Jeep Accessories by 4 Wheel Drive Hardware-RH2
Rocker Sliders without Side Tubing by Rock Hard 4x4 and Other Jeep Parts and Jeep Accessories by 4 Wheel Drive Hardware-RH2
Rocker Panel Guards by Currie Enterprises and Other Jeep Parts and Jeep Accessories by 4 Wheel Drive Hardware-RH2

I like the middle ones, myself, but would like some input on quality from people who have either one of them or know someone who does. They would be going on my 2005 Unlimited.

Out of those three I personally like none. But that is just my opinion. I like more protection.

Take a look at these "rokmen"...more protection than any you posted and good price...bonus...great company with great products...
Rokmen - TJ SWB Rock Sliders, Rocker Guards, Rocker Protection

I also like the BTF (blue torch fab) rockers....
BTF Jeep TJ Rocker Guards Blue Torch FabWorks, Inc.

I think the two I posted are also a hair cheaper.. .

Let us know what you decide.

Distorted TJ - These would be in addition to the tubular rocker guards that I have that will be mounted to the frame. Mainly getting these rocker guards so I can take the stupid little fender flare extension off and cover the side of the vehicle for a bit of added protection. (As in, they're more for looks than function, to be honest.)

Out of the two you've linked, I don't think either one will work for my 2005 Unlimited?

Personally I'd go with Currie's, with the Rock Hard in second place. I wouldn't even consider the Olympic guards.

But what type of wheeling do you do, are you doing hardcore or easy stuff? And have you considered the type of rocker guard that has a rail on it which is real handy at times?

I've had Curries on my rig since about a week after I purchased it. Never had a problem with them holding up, and the quality is good. I'd do it again.

Out of the three you posted I too would get the Currie.

Might also look into Rokmen (as stated above, nothing but exceptional comes out of their shop). or Savvy. (no personal experience, but based on what I've seen I would have a lot of confidence buying anything from him.)

The guy on ebay is from Texas, so he must be good

LOL Even better, he is offering a discount if you send him photos of the rocker guards installed. Photos I can do. I'm pretty handy with a camera. And I think the contrast between the black and my electric lime green LJ will be nice, too.

Heck yeah. Black and OMG BRIGHT ASS LIME GREEN is awesome!!!

THen get some of those plastic "tube style" fenders....I cant remember the brand, but its C something E IIRC.

And then some 33's. it'd be sweet!

sometimes I do wish my Jeep wasn't black.

oh and you need to make those fender flares black. that'd be killer.

Wow, I was a bit off. I knew it had a C and an E in the name...Wish the memory would start working again.

I have to admit that I didn't originally like the green color all that much, but it's growing on me. I'm not a big fan of the green/gray combination, though. But I don't currently have any plans on replacing or otherwise changing the fenders (and the hardtop).

Well the Fenders are an easy one, if you get a wild hair. Hardtop, not as easy. I'm sure you could rattle can it as well, but it'd just take more time/patience.

Both will indeed work...I didn't know you had an unlimited "LJ" but on the rockmen link posted just scroll down they are right on the page.
Same with the BTF but the LJ rockers were not on the page I linked. You can easily find them on the BFT site.
Both companies are outstanding with high quailty products.

But it looks like you found a set you like. Congrats.

Also...if your simply doing this to cover up the area where the flarette is.."consmeticly"....Have you thought about the stock rubicon rocker gaurds? They would preform the task your after and you could pick them up alot cheaper than the rocker guards posted from craigslist or most jeep wrangler forum forsale sections. <<--- just another option that may save some money.

Yes, that has previously been suggested to me, and I have been looking around for them locally via Craig's List and other classified sites - I have a "wanted" ad up on some, too - but no luck yet. I think for the price of those ones on eBay, I would be getting a pretty good deal, so I will probably go with those. They're quite solid, too.

I was thinking spray-on Rhino Liner for the fenders. I'll take them off on a nice day, clean them up, and then spray them. Sounds like a summer weekend project. I definitely will not do the hard top by myself ... well, not that I could take it off by myself, anyway.
