Rocker switch question?

Hey guys,
I need some help. I have 2 brand new fog lights on the bumper of my jeep, but they are really bright. even when i point them to the ground, they still light up the road. I was wondering if i can hook them up to a rocker switch and mount that onto my dash some how? Because i don't need them on all the time...

Right now they go on with my normal lights, and i don't want that. What do you guys think?
Thanks in Advance!

They need to be on their own relay with a switch to control the relay. It sounds like they are jsut wired in parallel with the headlights. And this is probably too much load for that circuit.

Agreed.....fog lights are not the same as driving lights. Just run a seperate switch, wires and relay and call it a day. I have my fogs wired to a toggle I mounted next to the cig lighter after my stock fog arm crapped out as happens to many other TJ owners.

I had the daystar vent rocker switches in my previous jeep. Loved them, clean look. No better spot to have switches mounted.

I ordered two of these switches. I will let you (if you want) know once I install them.
