Rocker Switches

So i just got two really nice switches from OTRATTW, and they look great. However my old KC switch came with only three wires, green, white, and brown. The new rockers have 5 prongs. So far i got the lights to turn on, but the switch wont turn on/ lite up. Does anybody know how to get both the lights, and the rocker switch to turn on?
Thanks

One post on the switch has to be grounded most switches without the light in them only serve as a bridge between the hot and the accessory but you have to have a ground to the switch for the light.

I have not seen that switch, but I have bought many switches and other things from Jim over at OTRATTW.com . But I would post up that question over on Jim's forum, I bet you would get a quicker answer.

KC Lites

If you are using KC Lites with the V1DAJ66B-00000-000 switch, here is the pin out assignments:

Pin #2 - White supply wire

Pin #3 - Green load wire

Pin #8 - Ground brown wire

These three wires will activate the relay, lights, and the upper light in the switch.

Pin #6 - This is the terminal you hook up your dash light circuit wire to for the lower light (positive)

Pin #7 - Second ground wire. Some people use a small jumper from terminal Pin # 7 and # 8. If you find the relay trips when you turn on the headlights, separate the grounds.

You must have both grounds connected on this switch for both lights to work.

This layout was using the wiring diagram available on KC's website.
