Rocky Mountain Package On 2005 Model

I'm looking at a 2005 Wrangler with the Rocky Mountain package. I'm curious about what was included with this package. I can see some of the cosmetic stuff - chrome bumpers and side steps, chrome mirrors, two-tone seats, painted fenders, but can someone tell me about the suspension or other items included in this package? I'm looking at an automatic (if that makes any difference).

Thanks for the help! I'll look forward to any input offered.

All I know is the RM seats are worth a good amount.

Seats

I like the look of the seats, but I don't know if there is any difference in the function.

If they are the RM sets that we got for odhinn they sit a lot lower then the other stock seats.

Yours has the jeep logo on them right?

I believe the Rocky Mountian edition had the D44 optional... if it equipped that would make it worth it IMO.

I think they look like the regular 05 seats but they are two toned.

I think the only mechanical differences was the D44(allready mentioned) and the I6 4.0. The rest was pretty much cosmetic. But I don't know for sure..

05 Rocky Mountain

Here's a shot of the Jeep I plan to purchase tomorrow. I like the black and chrome, but I'm a Harley guy.

It looks like my '04 Sport except I don't have matching fender flares and the two tone seats. Mine is also had a khaki top and interior. Nice looking rides though. I love my black one.

Left Door Closing On Soft Top

I did make the trade today. I really like the Jeep, but did notice a problem. The passenger side door has been closed against the front edge of the soft top. The vehicle has been operated so long with the door in this position that paint has rubbed away from the door frame. I'm not sure, but it looks like the same thing may have occurred on your Jeep (from what I see in the photos that you posted).

I'll try to post a photo to show what I'm talking about. I'm going to see what I can do about a fix, but I'm concerned that the plastic pieces in the edge of the soft are too deformed to get back into the proper position.

Got the RM set we have from the bone yard for 250.00. priced them at the dealer just to see and they are between 3 and 4 grand (can't remember the exact price). Jeep only sells them in parts and not as a whole. They sit lower then my 02 seats and form fit to my back and butt nicely. Our old seats will soon be mounted to a wood base and installed next to the cooler in the garage. Resting or drinking point when working on the Jeep.
