Rodent crawled into jeep, won't start.

Hey guys, my dog was continually barking under my dads jeep today, I was in a hurry to go somewhere so i couldnt fix the situation. When i got back home my dad said that the jeep wouldnt start now. The engine turns over, but will not start.

I told him that it was probably the coil pack and he said that he had already checked that.

I will begin working on it tomorrow, obviously its an electrical issue(guessing the rodent chewed through a wire of some sort) Which wires should I check? any particular ones that would cause this besides the coil pack? Thanks a lot guys.

I had a neighbor that had that happen to his escalade. A squirrel completely chew up the wiring harness. That same spring, they chewed up my hood latches and chewed through a propane tank hose.

haha, thanks. It's still running on the original clutch, engine, and tranny with no rebuilds.

Found the wire harness that it ate through. my best guess is that it was the set of four wires running to the fuel pump, also there is another harness that he chewed through and it connects to the cat. he chewed it so close that was not able to splice it and connect it, is there any way i can just buy this connector without having to buy the whole wiring harness?
