Rokmen Build - A Freak named Jake..

We have to admit, we do a very bad job of communicating what we actually do here at Rokmen - Working with steel is waayyyy more ejoyable to us than sitting behind the keyboard. So our natural tendency is to avoid web site updates, posting pictures etc..

In addition to manufacturing parts, we also do installation and complete vehicle builds. We always have a large project or two going on here at the shop too. Those who live near us, and have been to the shop know this - but the other 95% of our customers have no idea..

Well, this year we hope to change that - We are going to make a strong effort to keep our website more up to date with some of the cool things we have going on around here.

Our Gallery link at the top of our page is now active - and we'll be filling it up with builds we do here, weekend warriors, full builds, trail pics, and even a re-birth of our Militia members. We are actively working the link so you will probably see new things every couple of days.

So here is the first installment of that so to speak....

This complete vehicle build is "A Freak Named Jake"

It's a 2005 Rubicon LJ with Sahara package - It came to us stock, and is being turned into a Freak with a few differences..

You can see all the progress pictures, and follow the build at this link:
Rokmen: A Freak Named Jake

You can also access this page from our Gallery link on our website.

For all those going to EJS, you will see this rig in our booth along with the original Freak.. providing
we have it done in time....

Nice Dave, this looks like a cool build.

Are you guys putting the axles together yourself or outsourcing it? I needs me some Spider9 bling.

Completely built Spider 9's in house... We do all our own build outs. Keeps the quality up, and we can build more precise to the suspension systems we design etc...

There will be plenty of pictures of those too..

It's an AEV HighLine hood.

It's still being made - we can get them:

Sorry for the delay - we've been swamped with prepping for EJS, EJS itself, and aftermath of being at EJS...

Couple teaser pics here - and many more updated pics have been added to the gallery...

If you decide that a 60th AE is so special that you just need to throw a lot of parts at it. I promise to let you have it for a few weeks.

I wish that I had 1/4 the welding/fabrication skills you guys have.
