ROKMEN Freak Update...now on 42's

The shop LJ, or "The Freak" as many have named it, has been on the road for nearly a year now. The on-road performance is impressive; those who drive it or ride along are shocked that a rig on 42's can drive so well on the street. It tracks perfectly straight and can do 75+ without issue. On the trail it has performed incredibly well and we can't wait to get on some more trails this coming year.

As mentioned above we swapped up to 42's recently. The rig was built around 40's but the larger tires can fit with a little tweaking. We made some custom 6061 aluminum spacers to give the suspension a slight boost and the new VERY LARGE meats fit quite well.

Ill post some more recent picture’s w/ the 42's soon, the one below is from an event in Vegas a couple months ago. We have also been working on a couple new projects at the shop as well so keep an eye out for a couple new build threads.

The story on the spacers is that we needed a quick solution to get the 42’s to fit and went w/ the standard poly jobbers…well they didn’t last 24 hrs (no joke), so when we got back to the shop I did it the right way and made our own.

Dave,

What is the maximum height on those acos adjustable spacers?

And also, when will you be selling some of those heavy duty spacers seen on this jeep?

Thanks.

Looks good, however seems like something is missing, and I am not just talking about a WF sticker. Maybe its the color, maybe the tires are too big, not big enough. I have it, with the way it looks it needs a police light set of some kind on top... or maybe on the hood...

So we have this retaining wall behind the shop and we have always wanted to scale it w/ one of the Jeeps, but you would need wheelbase, a good approach angle, and a large tire to get up it....after all it is 5' straight up

So, Dave are those steps lying there so you can get back into the Jeep?

I know there isnt ACOS on this jeep, but its one of your products. It says a minimum of 1.25" whats the maximum on them?

Wow, +1 on a video of jeep going up a 5ft wall. That's simply amazing.

I wish my income would increase...so I could start buying all the parts I want from you guys.

And I love the "freak". its by far my favorite jeep I've ever seen.

Looking good Dave!

................and I agree Mrcarcrazy. If I could I would just ship my jeep to their shop and slam the Visa card.
