roll bar?

okay so ive notice that the new tjs i believe 03 and above have a thicker rollbar padding, and i like the look much better, do u guys know if i could buy upgraded padding to achieve this look if its even possible i checked ebay could find anything?

is it just the padding or is the bar itself a larger dia?

i guess my question is does anyone know an online store where i can purchase the thicker rollbar padding and cover??

its not only the different padding. you also need the foam that they installed for a better head-protection since 2003.

okay so its not only different padding but also foam, is that correct? because i found a place then sells them but there telling me that the roll cage is different width too so they wont fit, is that true?

Don't know an online store, but in commercial refrigeration they use elastomeric pipe insulation. This stuff is nice, it comes in all pipe sizes. They actually bury it in the ground and it lasts for years. Its soft and and is a closed cell (smooth) foam on the surface. I'll see if i can get a pic of it. You would have to go to a HVAC wholesale parts house but it would be worth it.
