rookie differential question about fluid.

I have an 06lj Rubicon do I put exactly 2 quarts in. Is it OK if I didn't put all of the 2 quarts in my diffs. I got as much as I could get In. Probably about 1 to 2oz short of 2 quarts. Is that OK.

That should be fine, the oil should be up to the fill hole and your done.

I just installed g2 diff covers so the fill holes are higher. So I know that they take 2quarts. And I got most of each quart bottle in there the angle was bad and like I said I probably didn't getting 2 oz in there.
