Rough Country 3.25 or 3.75 any good??

Is anyone out there running RC 3.25 or 3.75 lifts? Is RC adj. Front track bars any good? Im looking for some pros and cons for RC lifts, I understand there cheaper and I have read the reviews on these lifts on this site and they all seem to like RC. But then I read in posts here people hate them. Can someone enlighten me on this? I have a 97 tj that I am getting ready to lift, it is not a daily driver and I don't do extreme off roading, I run ocassional fire roads and pole lines but would like to put 33" tires on it. I am not looking for a BB lift, just a complete susp. kit. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you for your time

Yeah, and As ive said in your other threads, they sag and their shocks suck. All four of mine were completely wasted in a year and ive had to add a 3/4" to the spacers to level everything back up.

I run the 3.75 combo lift and it's not too bad for a starter kit it runs a little rough and I had to replace one of the shocks because it blue after 1 year and less than 15000 miles but other than that if you're just going to do that little bit of off roading it wouldn't be too bad a deal for you but if you want to do anything more than light trails you'll probably have to step up to another kit and the one thing that doesn't come with it that you need is a motor mount lift. But for $385 it's not too bad

Previous owner installed the 3.25 lift in my TJ. It's probably 2 to 3 years old now. Coming from a leaf sprung cj5 it hard to know if it rides rough. I like it alright. I wheel some moderate stuff and haven't had any complaints yet. I'd say for light duty, fire trails and to support 33s it would be ok. I've read a few forum posts that say the springs are ok, but replace the shocks eventually.

Before you pull the trigger search out Zone lifts. Lots of great opinions on their lifts, and the pricing is good.

I have 2.5in RC lift w 31s. I'm happy w it. It's not my DD, so the stiffness doesn't bother me.

I was considering the RC until I saw all the bad reviews. I just installed the Zone 4.25 and couldn't be happier, it's a good value and design IMHO.

285/75r16. Roughly equivalent to a 33x11.5
