Soon id like to get a 2" lift and some 31's and seen rc had a 2.5 suspension lift and was just wanting some input. Any other things I should buy with it? Quick disconnect stuff like that. Recommend any other brands? Anything helps, thanks guys
This is the kit I was looking at, and it's my daily driver but I would definitely on my weekends like to get out to some trails. Just kinda looking for some other things your guys with experience recommend

I've had a 4" RC lift on my YJ for years now, and I love it. I know a lot of people seem to think poorly of Rough Country, so they'll go with other brands, but I can honestly say that I have absolutely no complaints about my lift whatsoever... aside from the fact that I'm really short and can barely climb into my Jeep. But that's my fault, not theirs
Anyway, I definitely think RC is a quality brand, making quality product for great prices. As I said, my lift has held up for years, and I've beat on my Jeep quite a bit. I highly recommend.
I guess I will jump in here and let you guys beat me up a bit. That kit will suite you well for what you want to do. Quick disconnects will add to your off-road capability for sure. I would also recommend the rear track bar bracket. Adjustable front and rear track bars are also an option.
I can tell you from personal experience, go with the adjustable track bar up front. And the cam bolt kit. Then get it aligned properly. My quick disco's are on the way. If you don't get the QD's, at least get longer ones. I have not been unhappy with my lift, others will tell you not to waste your money. But if this is your DD, then it's fine. Bumpy roads suck, but they suck in general. I am planning on getting another lift in the future, but for now, I'm satisfied.
Thanks for the input guys, I've been hearing mix feelings about rough country from some guys in my shop but wanted to hear from the people who actually has it.
I just bought a RC 2 in leveling kit.
Putting it on next week.
Although Ive been running 31s, with a stock suspension since the day after I brought it home. You really just need a nice set of wheels with some backspacing.
The only adjustable track bar I would use with a 2.5" lift is a jks 126. And that's only if I also swapped in a v8 zj tie rod. For 2.5" I would weld a plate over the face of the axle side bracket and drill a new hole to center the front axle using the stock track bar.
The springs are fine on a light weight rig, but the shocks leave a lot to be desired. You can buy just the springs and a set of skyjacker hydro's. The shocks are $37. each from summit with free shipping.

You know much about quick disco's, would like to learn alittle bit for about them other than they allow for more flex.
