Rough Country really IS rough!

Had my TJ a couple weeks now, and man the Rough Country 4" springs are earning their name! I don't know what brand shocks are on it, but is there a shock that'll tame the bucking see saw? Are OMEs a good shock to use with Rough Country? Thanks for any input.

Jay

x2. Make sure you get the OME LT (long travel) shocks. That's what I did when I had that lift and it helped a lot.

I have this same lift. It is rough... I was htinking of getting the OME shocks also. A mechanic said it will cost a lot to change out rear shocks because of all the rust... not good.

2 bolts upper and one bolt lower. If the bolts up top break. Hit them with a air chisel. Break the tac weld on them. Then just put in 5/16ths by 1 1/4 long bolts with washers and nuts. Simple.

ironic this topic comes up after i went over to a buddies house to check out his 04 rubi and let him see what i did to my 99tj. After he got done checkin everything out he kept commenting on how i didnt get control arms yet and he had them and only spent 600$ on his lift total. And i spent 1400$ and still have to buy the c/a's.... i told him that i bet my kidney's are alot happier then his...lol
