Rough Idle

OK this is my first post... I always read the posts to figure out out what is wrong. I haven't seen this one yet. I just finished puting on a SYE & CV DS. I also put on new headers. I fianally got it running again and it has a nasty idle. If I don't leave my foot on the gas it will stall out on me. What the heck am I missing? Also when I was reinstalling the cross member I had a heck of a time puting on the bolts. It's been so long that I can't remember what the crossmember/skid plate is supposed to look like without the TC lowering kit.

Please help... I am dying to take my baby back on the road.

I suspect vac. leak/hose disconnected on the bad idle.

not sure what you want to know on the skid plate.

I can't remember if the the blocks between the frame and the skid plate need to be there. I tried keeping the blocks off, but the bolt will not go in all the way.

If no one else answers by the end of the day I can check when I get home from work. I know that my skid fits flush against the frame.(OEM)

I suspect we'll get an answer by then though. If you are close by, I'd suggest a pic or two.

after a flashback I remember that you may need shorter bolts, (IIRC the drop kits come w/ longer bolts.)

If you are removing the TC drop, then definitely you need shorter bolts (as suggested by mrcarcrazy).

For your rough idle, check to make sure that you have plugged the IAC connector! Also check for broken wires or loose connector!
