Rpm drop after shifting into 3rd gear

hey guys, i have a 2000 jeep wrangler 4.0l and am having problems AFTER shifting into 3rd. As soon as i shift the rpm drop very low, almost like you accidentally shifted into 4th...which i am not lol. the power and rmps return after a little gas pressure but third is the only gear that is giving this trouble. Im not sure if it is related but it is shirting rough INTO second. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks jeep guys.

Tell us your speeds @ RPM, and RPM's once at that speed and what gears you are in at what speed/RPM. 1st in to 2nd, 2nd in to 3rd etc...
