RPMs

HOw many rpms should my 2.5L idle at?

mine is around 700-800

Most of the time mine is about there aswell, the other day I went on a quick trail drive and the slow on and off throttle had my jeep acting silly! It kept dropping below to like 3, 4, 500 rpms and wanting to stall. I had to drive two footed, one on the break while climbing down hills or into sippy holes and one on the gas to keep it running.
