I bought an OME steering stabilizer and am not impressed with the quality control. The welds on the eyes look like it was bring your 3 yr old to work day. I bought it because of what I have read on here about OME stuff. i have never read anything - about them. Also the powdercoat is not the best quality either (dont really care about the PC as it is gona get hammered anyway.) I hope it works better then it looks.

Either are really nice. I got my Twin-Tubes because they were cheap and I was on a budget... but I would have went with the Mono's or Bilstiens.

i love my RE monotubes.. ive ridden in rigs with both.. really not much of a difference.. if your kit comes with RE monotubes.. i wouldnt upgrade if it costs more.. only way id upgrade is if they came with twintubes..

Its like 80 bucks more...I'll probably just stick with the RE mono's.

As for the stabilizer, thanks for the heads up cause i was gonna buy one of those. Maybe I'll just go with a Rancho or something.

they are worth every penny, racing back from Laughlin to barstow i hit some 2 to 2.5 foot woops at about 35 to 40mph. at first i thought i was gonna die but the shocks soaked them all up and it was like i floated over the top. highway is smoother then ever, and while wheeling slow or fast they feel GREAT my stablility has gone waaaay up with these. I found mine on a desert racing website in the classifieds. they have 2 trips to pismo on them and the previous owner took them off for coilovers. I snagged all 4 for 300.00.

Between OME and RE's Monotube, it's probably six of one or half-dozen of another. Personally after 5 years of running them, I like my RE Monotubes, their build quality, and how they ride. And that's after having run about a half-dozen different types of shocks before that. That the RE Monotubes come with a lifetime warranty is good too.

I can't speak for the OMEs, but I really like my RE monos. Of course, compared to the ProCrap ES3000s I had previously anything would be good.

Nope fox made these especially for the TJs. use stock locations no adapters or anything needed. the body is thinner and longer with special valving.
