Rubicon rocker guards/"sliders"

Anyone got experience with the Rocker guards that came on the Rubicon. Can they take a rock?...A hi lift?

Just wondering, I scored a set for free, they're going on till I can afford better, but will be a little more careful out on the trail if I know they're not worth squat. Although I'm too careful as it is haha.

Should go on tomorrow. I'll post some pics up when they're one, and my thoughts exactly. Better something than nothing, I would like to think they'd take some abuse at 280 bucks.

Thanks for the replies guys; helpful as always. I've got them on with beefier grade 8 hardware than stock. I just need a few self tappers to finish up the look and I need to trim the bolts down. They look good and seem durable testing with the floor jack, but didn't get a whole lot of axle weight on them, but hopefully they'll be there for looks and I'll avoid the rocks...........and those damned poles!
