Arguably one of the rarest tjs. Rubihara unlimited. It was released to promote the movie "Sahara". 1000 made. I believe on the passenger dash grab handle there is a number, the manufacturing number for that particular rubihara (1-1000, obviously).

If you can afford it and its in good shape, buy it. If you can't, let me know and I will!

I am in the same boat as you! I had a 2012 ram 1500 with only 30k miles and sold it 5 weeks ago. I have been in search of jeep ever since. and I am currently looking at a LJ Rubicon with 83k miles. I know it hurts but you just gotta remember that the 4.0 inline 6 will last a long time when taken care of!

Now that LJ Rubicon Sahara is super rare. Honestly that price is a good price especially considering it's the LJ Rubi Sahara. Now I'm not sure what the going prices are up north, but down here in Texas that's a good price. To be honest with you, I would buy that if it was in Texas. Also one thing to consider, LJ Rubicons are only going to become more rare which will put a higher value on them, IMO. I would say if you like it, buy it. Granted there is no rust.

The LJ rubicon I'm looking at now has 83k miles and is completely stock and the asking price is $18,500. I am going to try to haggle down to $17,500 as I consider that a fair price.

I would say snatch it if you like it!

PS: Sorry that your 04 was stolen. That really sucks oh well time to start over!

I wouldn't worry about that too much. If the PO took care if it then they won't have dried to hide anything just knock around on some panels and listen for body filler. Definitely check doors front fenders and tailgate. They may try to get you to pay a lot more for the special edition name

I saw that on autotrader with a car fax report...something didn't sound right to me, forgot the details. And "Rubihara?" I've never heard of it...even the Sahara font in the decals doesn't match other Saharas. Surprisingly, I've been seeing lots of LJ Rubis around here

I decided not to spend the time to go look at the jeep in CT due to the miles. I really want to find one that is low mileage, similar to the one that was stolen. I would rather have a TJ Rubicon with low miles that the LJ with more miles.
