rugged ridge fender flares

How much more do they cover more than stock. Can I get some pictures to see how much the tires hang out past them with a 33/12.50 tires. Secondly how would I make them work on a Sahara.

Like these, 6" of coverage. I plan on using a 8" wheel with 4" backspace. I still want the tires joystick out some even with these flares on it.

put a tape measure where your flare connects to the fender and measure out 6 inches and see if the tire sticks out unless you dont have the tires on right now

Warning: Information overload.

Rugged Ridge All Terrain flares
Tyres - MTZ 33x12.5x15
Rims - DC2's (15x8) with 3.65" backspacing.

Tyres stick out slightly with this set-up, not enough to notice - until I go through mud or puddles.

The following is a post I made 2 months ago regarding the flares - the front flares have busted up a bit more since writing but still hanging in there. This is because I haven't sorted the bumpstops.
Although will probably look elsewhere when replacement time comes....

I've had them on my '97 for about 6 months and they have noticably faded.
I like the textured finish. Pretty sure the Bushcrackers are smooth.

Seem pretty strong. I've sideswiped some metal bollards and roughed them up against dirt walls on the trail and they haven't broke - yet.
On both front sides, the factory nutcerts were pulled out of the metal fenders intstead of the plastic flares breaking.

Also get a reasonable amount of tire rub when flexed up on the trail (especially the rear) and they have worn down where the tires rub - but still, no breakage.

I think the trick is to follow the install instructions and not over-tighten them. The rubber spacers which sit between the flare and bodywork are also very important.

The RR All Terrains are 6" wide.
With my tires and rims, I really should be running 7" flares. So I do get a fair bit of splatter on the sides of the Jeep out on the trail. Because of sliders, wasn't able to fit the little 'flare extensions' so that probably makes a difference too.

Also, if you have sliders or rocker guards, make sure there is still enough room for them.

2nd pic isn't a great angle, but they. Cover the all but about an inch on 15x8 with 3.75 backspacing.
