Well i guess it depends on how much money you are willing to spend. The bestop sailcloth is awsome.I like it so much i still have thoughts on why i even have a hard top :-)
But to answer you ? i have never used that brand.I imagine it would keep you dry and warm!

Welcome to the WF.

Well after searching for hours I was able to find a bestop RAT for only $70 more than the rugged ridge. I like to save money whenever possible but I've heard nothing but praise about bestop, so I went with it instead. If anyone else is thinking about a new top before winter 4wheeldrive hardware has a great deal on bestops it's only going on for a couple more days though.

I just bought a Bestop Sailcloth top from 4wd.com...looks nice, haven't installed it yet so can't review it, but the overall quality looks good. Once I get my rebate sent in and receive a check back, it will have cost me just under $500 shipped for it.

dont fear, 4wd.com has been having that sale off and on for the past year. Theyre typical salesmen saying DEALS WONT LAST, but in reality they keep extending it.

The rebate is directly from Bestop, and it will definitely end on the 31st. Vendors like 4wd also have their own promotions and deals, and of course they do that throughout the year.

And, in fairness, it should be mentioned that the Sailcloth is a replacement top - it's just the fabric and windows, not the hardware. Which works great and is an awesome deal when you already have the factory hardware. If you don't have hardware, then it's a bit more. Still a great deal! :-)

I have had the rugged ridge top for about a year and its holding pretty good. The 1/2doors do leak a little but the material seems to be good quality.

I got one last year for Xmas and put on this spring. Not as quiet as I had hoped but a nice top better than the OEM.
