Looks good! Been looking at that one myself. Leaning towards the Highrock 4x4 one though. Haven't seen any bad reviews of the XHD one though.

Looks hot. And heavy. How easy is it to remove the ends if you wanted to do some hardcore crawling or something?

I havent seen the tube ends before. Just got the basic set-up so far, no ends or hoop.
The bumper is quite heavy and seems tuff as.
I'm not planning on getting a winch anytime soon so mounted some KC's in the space. Used the brackets (for mounting to a CJ) that came with the bumper and put them in the winch mounting holes (otherwise the KC's would have been half obscured) that's why they are a bit off-centre.

The tube bumper? Won't do you a damn bit of good on contact with a large animal.

Not necessarily. Depends on what wall thickness RR uses... Most likely you are correct but just because it's a tube doesn't mean it's junk.

the tubes just unbolt from the center. i got mine for around 450 bumper+50 for the tube ends made by my local 4x4 fab shop. i had to have the tubes made because RR only makes them for the JK..but i think mine are stronger.

Oh yeah, had to use the D-rings a few times so far. very solid.

This just in....
Got the standard end bits on - they sure do catch the mud!
Got a Rugged Ridge farlead roller with holes for light mounts, also able to mount the license to it as well.
Still unlikely to get a winch anytime soon but next job is mounting a compressor where the winch would normally sit.

WESBOY-- love the new light placement. good to hear that the d-rings are "very solid." sorry to hear that the standard ends catch all the mud. i guess its just one more place to keep rust away from.
