Running Board World - anybody out there ever dealt with them?

I'm having a tough time finding 3" stainless tubular nerf bars/steps for my 06 LJ. These guys have some and seem to be reasonably priced & free shipping. Anybody dealt with them? Thanks, Smitty

if youre truly going to offroad, nerf bars are useless and will rip off. Get Rock sliders that mount to your tub, If you want, ill sell your my side steps I have for $20 + shipping, I think I bought them for $150, but I recently bought tub mounted rock sliders so I have no need for these steps. They are Frame Mounted, theyre meant for a TJ, but im sure theyd fit an LJ just fine since the only difference is your body length.

Can you use rock sliders as steps for folks who aren't able to climb up into the Jeep as easily or do you need nerf bars/running boards to accomplish that task?

You can use any of the "sliders" for the jeep-EXCEPT" the Rubi rockerguards

just add a few strips of 3M nonskid tape and they make perfect steps

I have OR-FAB sliders mounted loop up and my 5'3" wife uses them for steps to get into and out of our Rubi with a 4" lift. Check my other posts for pics.
