yeah i'm putting off putting the hard top on till probably thanksgiving. it's gana be 76 here tomorrow so of corse the tj will be topless! i'll hold off as long as i can just hoping for a warm day to take the soft top off.

I do need to find a roof rack to put on the hard top so i can go snowboarding with more than 2 other people. this is my first winter with the tj and i'm guesstimating that i prob cann't fit more than 2 other people's boards and gear plus mine in the jeep without a rack. anyone got some insite?
I just bought a roof rack on craigslist with a basket for $175. Try that, then just bungie down the boards.

I got a used Grand Cherokee rack from a junk yard and drilled it into my hardtop. $50, worth it.

Just put my hard top and doors on yesterday. Yes, I live in Florida, but the morning commute to work was a little chilly. Now they are predicting record high temps! Oh well, I needed to get it out of my garage anyway. Doors and hard top on now feels so cramped!

May I suggest light jacket? If I lived in Fla, I'd take the top off and leave it off, hang a bikini and buy a light jacket.

My mom lived in Orlando for 3 years, and I would fly out of RDU in Dec/Jan in shorts & a hooded sweatshirt. I looked like a fool at the airport, but when I landed... I fit right in!

I too would LEAVE my top & doors OFF if I lived in FL! Heck, I'd just sell them! Man, that would be nice!

I lived in St Petersgurg for three years when I was 8 9 and 10 and I remember going to the beach over in Tampa on Christmas day for a day at the beach, I'd hop in the gulf water to cool off. Here in Va Beach in Jan I need the top on in the morning and not in the afternoon on one day the next day I need nothing the next day I need studs in the tires and a 500 megawatt heater, next day is comfortable, after that the real roller coaster ride starts,
