Sadly I must leave for the JK page as I have traded (I cant bring myself to say UP) for a new JKU Rubicon. I needed a bit more room and something to be smoother at interstate speeds.
I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone for their valuable advise and quick responses to my questions. I have learned so much from your cumulative experience.
perhaps in a couple of years I'll pick up an old TJ that the wife will let me beat up.
I'm almost jealous! My son just picked up on a sweet JK.
I must say they do drive nice and maybe it's just me but seem a lot easier to work on.
Especially suspension wise, with springs and track bars, etc.
I do love my TJ though. After my new control arms it's like a new Jeep all over again.
Still in the Jeep family though.
Congratulations on the purchase!
Enjoy the new one. Let us know what you like (or not).
