Sahara flare extensions

Any one out there with a sahara,
I'm getting rocker guards soon and I wanna get my flare extensions off. I took all the bolts on the bottom off but I cant get it off the tub. I've looked at a lot of saharas and it seems as though no one takes them off. Is there a way to take them off or do I have to leave them on? Thanks for the help

On mine there look to be rivets that you can see from the inside of the tub. Should grind the off or break them and should come off

After you have removed the bolts from the bottom of the panel you will need to pull it out then lift up on the entire panel. Once removed you will still need to remove the rail that is riveted to the tub. I used a grinder to remove by rivets, I just could not get a drill bit to get a good enough bite on it without it wondering. Be forewarned the rivet holes are rather high on the tub and your rocker guards may not cover them. Mine fell about ╝ of an inch short from covering them.

Here is a pic of mine from when i test fit them.
