Seat adaptability

I would like some new bestop seats for my 04 wrangler, but bestop only goes up to 02. So my question is how are the seats and seat brackets different after 02 and what would it take to install seats for an 02 into an 04?
Thanks

Got a set of seats off a newer rocky mountain edition and put them in my 02. 02 risers would NOT fit on the newer seats but the newer risers bolted right up to my Jeep. Not sure about best top but if your risers won't fit you should be able to get a set of 02 risers from the bone yard.

Man...I hope that made sense.

That makes some sense, so to put 02 or earlier seats in my 04, I need 02 or earlier risers, which should bolt right in to an 03 or later, right?

Anyone have pictures showing the differences?

Thats the way I figured it to be. The bolt pattern on the tub for the seats was identical but the pattern on the seats was different.

I don't want it to sound like I'm questioning Odhinn here, but can anyone else confirm that 97-02 seat risers bolt right into 03 and up?

Oh the pain...I might as well just go hide in a hole. I will never be able to show my face in public again.

Thats actually a good idea to get several views on a subject before acting.

Judging by your avatar picture (of yourself) you shouldn't be showing your face in public anyway!

Hey now, I am very sensative about my face. It was a freak accident with a cork screw and a sledge hammer.
