usually there's a switch inside the buckle, its either disconnected, or has gone bad. try spraying some wd-40 in the buckle side and work the seatbelt in and out a bunch of times, after you check to see if its not connected

Did the sealt belts get replaced when the seats did? If not, it looks like the switch has given up the ghost and needs to be replaced... It is a part of the sealt belt assembly unfortunately, but should be available as an aftermarket part through Quadratec, Jeepsareus or other parts places...

There is a switch/wires under the seat that connects to the seatbelt. Check those wires and connections out..or maybe a fuse?

Otherwise it was off whether my seatbelt was on or not. Now with it plugged back in, it turns on when I'm not wearing my seatbelt.
I've had mine unplugged for ages with the same results. Unplugging it under the seat could be a quick fix.
