seat belt trouble

i took my front seat belts out when i redid my roll cage and now they wont extend out. any help would be great. is there a way i can take them apart and fix them back without buying new

Did you install them back at the same angle that they were at before you removed them? If they're at the incorrect angle, they won't extend.

i cant get them pulled enough to even get them bolted back on

They have to be level to extend thats why they lock up when your offcamber. Try getting them straight up and down and it should come out. Ya just have to futz with it some.

thanks i have tryed that before but this time it worked, dont know why but it did.
