i just got Rugged Ridge neoprene custom fit covers... They are really nice! dont even look like covers, and they stay pretty cool in the warm sun (better than vynl or cotton). I really love them! They are a little pricey, but very nice, I would post up some pics but they are on my phone, i will try to get some up soon!

th only thing that i have concerns with those are that they are made by shittybuilt... I haven't heard anything about them making seat covers... but i have heard some bad stuff bout their other products... and if you are gunna spend that kind of money, I would go with something reputable that you know wont fade or tear or something... and I would use some UV protectant on any seat cover too

Iggee's. - they are the most durable, best looking seat covers on the market.

My back has yet to sweat...but I have an A/C and I use it.

Neoprene has issues with getting stinky, staining, and getting bleached in the sun.

Search and read, read, read before you buy Neoprene.

Then its not going to matter what seat you use...your back will be sweaty. 100deg heat = sweat. unless you stop drinking fluids....but then you'll have an entirely new set of problems.

maybe a better antiperspirant? Or move to a cooler climate

If you search this forum you will find that neoprene seat covers have gotten very bad reviews because they don't breathe. That's why the stuff is used for wetsuits. Personally I like my Rugged Ridge ones with the pouches on the back. They fit well and add storage space. Also they were like $65 for the pair.

I spent alot of time checking out seat covers last month. The top picks are Iggee, Marathon, Bestop. That being said, I got Covercrafts for $90.... I'm happy with them so far.

I heard if you have neoprene, all you have to do is have a towel on hand to dry off the beaded water... Any thoughts?

I'm working on alternatives. Give me some time to get a website set up, and some more patterns made... Hopefully in the next few weeks. Oh, and I have to get my commercial status going here too..

You can always pick up some used neoprene’s on eBay if your patient. I bought a set of wet okole for my Acura Rsx, supposedly they were used but looked brand new to me, got them for $40. Won a pair of Rugged Ridge neoprene front covers for my wrangler for $50, also looked brand new when I got them.

I couldn't spend $200+ on seat covers that are going to fade in the sun.

I'm getting into this thread pretty late but the LAST material I would choose for my seat covers would be neopreme.

Neopreme is NOT waterproof and in fact, it soaks up liquids if it's not wiped away right away. That also means it will soak up your perspiration eventually and then they'll start to stink. Those that believe neopreme is waterproof are either just reading what the ads say or they are too inexperienced with neopreme (I have been using/wearing neopreme for nearly 40 years). And yes, that is true whether you are talking about inexpensive open-cell neopreme or the very best closed-cell neopreme like Rubatex.

Wet Okoli chose the perfect name for their seat covers because if you sit on them with a wet swim suit, the water will soak in and then you'll have a wet butt the next few days afterwards unless you sit on a towel until the neopreme finally dries out.

And the colored nylon covers on the outside of neopreme will all quickly and unevenly fade if it sees much sun. Black turns to purple, red turns to pink, etc..

I'd run nearly anything... canvas, cotton, fabric, vinyl, leather, etc. before I'd run neopreme seat covers.
