I'm looking for seat covers for my 2005 TJ. Have any of you purchased any? Where, what kind, cost, satisfaction, etc.,etc. Thanks

All I know is not to get any neoprene, because you will get swamp butt when they get wet.

Stay away from neoprene. They fade in a month if you keep it under the sun AKA top down. Then if it gets wet it will soak it up if the water is not dryed off in time. Ive heard good things about the IGGEE seat covers.

http://www.wranglerforum.com/f5/igge...rs-166683.html

Ive heard they are high quality, wont fade and are water proof. I havent gotten myself any seat covers but if I were, then I would get the Iggees'. Also forgot to mention that they come in different color combinations too if you want to match it to the color of your jeep! Good Luck!

I have these best top seat covers. They are durable and waterproof. I think they look great. If you don't like a vinyl type seat cover, then they are not for you, but I really like them. you can find them on amazon for around $100-$125.

I'm happy with my Iggees! They are waterproof, and a lot of ppl have thought they are leather Nice and snug still, though I only got them last year. Had to ask them for more clips but that was the only problem. The rear doesn't cover the full bottom, but I usually have it out or setup normally so its no matter to me... They wipe clean easy so far too

x2 I have the bestop vinyl seat covers and love them. Very durable, and when I get caught in the rain with the top down I don't have to worry about having wet butt while I wait for the cloth seats to dry out.

I live in a warm climate and can tell you from experience that Neoprene covers are not the best over 90 degrees.....I just bought some new covers from my TJ from Covercraft in their "Velocivent" fabric.

They look great and fit like a glove. I had the seats out anyhow to add seat heaters and the covers went on very nicely.....they've been in for about 4 weeks now and fit like a glove, breathe and 2 friends have no ordered and installed them after seeing them in person. I removed the one screw holding the top lever on the seat back and they look like they were part of the factory seat now.

I bought mine from Costco.com here; Coverking Custom Fit Seat Covers 3 Different Materials To Choose From-Starting at $99.99

They come in 3 different styles and in my case I only bought the 2 front seats for $99 as I leave the back seat out completely but friends bought front and rear for $189 (shipped).

I have had a set of their Neoprene covers in my Chevy Avalanche for more than 5 years and they are still in great shape and have saved the leather from all the normal "Truck" use things.

Take a look you might like them!

Neoprene is the way to go as far as im concerned. So nice if you get caught in the rain with the top off. You wont get swamp a$$, just brush the water off and away you go

Do these count? My seats have never gotten wet with them on.

Anyone else had this problem?

I have a mixed experience with my CoverKing neoprene seatcovers. First off, I bought mine thru a re-seller on ebay, the initial cost for mine shipped was 170$ for just front seats. They fit great, no sags, water certainly is easy to brush off. Bad news was he sent the wrong gray and black set even tho I specifically said gray and black, the ebay idiot sends seafoam gray and black. Kinda looks off gray/green. Attempted to get the seller to switch them right? The sellers says no problem, only thing is I have to pay round trip shipping (send back the old ones and get the new one) even tho its not my fault. So to pay 3x for shipping which would of be pretty much paying for another set was not an option, put in a dispute and says he'll refund me the cost of the item (125$) minus shipping and I keep the covers, making that a 45$ purchase. If it wasnt for the ebay seller, I would of been happy paying 170$ if they got it right. SO all I'm hoping this summer my covers will fade really nicely lol So like I said, mixed review. As for swamp butt, not an issue for me as I live up north, humidity isnt bad and nice weather is rare.

I didn't have this issue on my last jeep with the Iggees. Just sharing.

You won't just brush the water off neoprene if it sits there for very long. Neoprene soaks up water like a sponge if you don't quickly wipe it off. I have been using various neoprene products for 40 years & all of them soak up water before long and take several days to dry out.

I agree with the above recommendations for Bestop's seat covers, I've had them on both of my TJs.

I like the cheap camo ones the best. Look great with just about any color. Although I have a set of neoprenes on my TJ now and love them. But like they said ^^^ they will def give you swampa$$ if you ride in the sun all day!

My Iggee's should be here Monday. I'll get em on and post some pics. I'm curious about the back seat too.

I personally like my camo seat covers from marathonseatcovers.com I had a set in my chevy for years. Nice thick canvas and they fit great. Abused the hell out of them and they held up fine. Just bought a set for the Jeep.

Bought a set of Iggee's last month. Couldnt be happier. The fit and quality is excellent. I only bought a front set since I normally dont have my backseat installed, so I have no comment on back seat fit.

Flip up the back seat and the stock cover is zipped over the bottom, with the Iggeee's you see the straps from them and factory zipped cover...
