Seat Covers and Soft Top Cleaner

Good Morning!!!!!!!!

I saw a good deal on Amazon for the Bestop seat covers but it isn't clear if it's for one or the pair? The picture shows two, but the minimal product description indicates only one 'seat'. Can anyone clarify this before I order please? Otherwise I'll just get them from Quadratec. Amazon is my preference though if possible.

Also, if it is for two, has anyone had any experience with these black denim sort? Not interested in the neoprene..

Amazon.com: Bestop 29226-15 Black Denim Front Seat Cover: Automotive

The other thing is I bought some soft top cleaner stuff by RaggTopp, but can someone verify if it works on the Bestop Sailcloth soft top?

Amazon.com: Convertible Top Care Kit - Vinyl: Automotive

Again, the description is unclear, one bottle is for vinyl protection, but the other on is for fabric AND vinyl..are they both safe on my soft top?

Thanks, Rangler

I would call them. They never mention 2 or set in the description.

Bestop's seat covers ship with a pair of them, though no telling what the guy on eBay is selling. I did like my Bestop seat covers, TOO BAD THEY DON'T FIT MY BESTOP SEATS I installed later (hint hint to Bestop).

Simple Green is a superb cleaner for the soft top. Follow that up with 303 Aerospace Cleaner and you'll be amazed. 303 is some amazing stuff, it made my boat hulls look like new and the same thing with my soft top. Plus it has UV inhibitors so it'll help protect the top from the sun. I most often find 303 at the local RV supply store. It's not cheap but it's really good stuff and worth looking for.

Thanks Jeff, I think I'll take my chances then and order the seat covers..

Thanks for the advice on the top cleaner - I'll look at purchasing the stuff you recommended in future. Any idea about the RaggTopp stuff I ordered already?

Jeff? The RaggTopp stuff looks ok, probably pretty good stuff. I actually don't use anything on my top (I did on the original top my '97 TJ came with) and it still looks great. A friend looked at my top last weekend and asked if I bought a new top. It's actually something like 8-9 years old, I bought it used (because it was Sailcloth) when it was about 6 months old.

i i had to guess, i would say that the seat covers are sold in pairs. If they weren't than the pricing info wouldn't make sense. These are sold at Quadratec for $112.99 for a pair.

Front seat covers are always sold in pairs.

They fit factory seats. They do not fit the Bestop replacement seats. As Jerry likes to point out :-) Our seats are a little bigger, and few people need covers for them, so there's not much of a market.

I can adjust some of the descriptions on Amazon, so if it's one I can fix, I'll fix it.

RaggTopp cleaner works fine.

I use the RaggTopp Stuff on my cobra's top and it works amazing!! Its a very nice product. Does a great job of cleaning out the fibers of the top and then the top sealant/UV protector leaves a rich clean look.

One thing about the seat covers though...Hey Geoff, why do they say bungee cord attachment? I just bought a set and there are no bungee cords (thankfully) - just some hook and loop and two snaps.

BTW - $83 is a great price. I just paid $120 through 4WP.
