SEAT COVERS! (lol @ caps)

lol, so the title says it all, im going to be buying "seat glover" seat covers, there super legit.

but! my question is!!!!!!!!........................... WHAT COLOR!!!

lol so...

Heres the Jeep color :

So, the Tan? or the Red? I mean my red, is like a magenta red, not sports car red... so i was thinking (spice) tan.

RED: http://seatglovers.com/userimages/wr...and=1180303681

Tan: http://seatglovers.com/userimages/wr...and=1180303713

The solid black is easier to keep clean and doesn't fade as bad.

Red exterior with solid black seats would look really good.

I dont know about that exact setup, but I bought some of the ~$40 ones off ebay that have the JEEP logo on them and say they fit TJ's, and they don't. They are cut from some totally diffrent seat, and have like 5 inches of extra width at the headrest area and look like crap. Really thin as well.

Im planning on ordering some of the expensive neoprene ones and trying them out. Ill be sending them back if they dont fit tight/right. Also my dad bought some of the blue on black 2 tone neoprene ones from JC whitney about 2 months ago, and the blue is already fading/washing out really bad from him leaving the top off, so i would stay away from those particular ones.

o, i see, idk, these are the expensive ones from what i researched, they've gotten the best reviews and feedback by a long shot, i mean i have the hardtop and tinted windows, and the top wont stay off all the time as the forum has heard from me, the father wont take it off lol.

idk, i guess its black.red.ortan

those are like 300$ so pretty far from the 40 range. Custom fitted for a 97-02 TJ

lifetime warranty, no fade warranty, 100% water resistant.

I wouldn't pay too much for the Neoprene seat covers. Sounds like you bought the JK version of their seat covers or the high rise versions. My Neoprene fits like a glove. I'm starting to think almost all the neoprene covers are made by the same factory....

Just a tip, don't confuse resistant with Proof. Neoprene is pretty much a sponge and it will hold water. If you get wet a lot or leave the top off all the time I would avoid neoprene all together. I think seat glovers have a extra layer or something on the inside but reg neoprene has very little between the neoprene and the seat.

These were around 100ish off ebay and most of them if not all of them are made by these guys. http://www.coverking.com/

I don't think seat glovers are but a lot of the neoprene covers you find are pretty much made by them and sold by other people.

I have the seatglovers "allete" line in black on my jeep right now and so far love them. There are a few pics in the "what did you do for your jeep today" thread if you want to take a peek.

I'm glad you posted, I think I'm going to get me a set. I'm gonna go with solid black eventhough my entire interior is tan, no matter what color interior you can't go wrong with black. You don't know if the red will match your jeeps red and the tan, well I think that would look crappy but just my opinion, I would go with black. Also the site says 100% waterproof not water resistant.

On a side note I wouldn't buy the covers from their site. If you do a search on ebay you will find them listed often at a discounted price. That's how I got mine and saved around $50 on the full set. Also they have 2 dif levels of covers. One is the proform which is the lower level and then there is the allette line which is a perfect fit, has all the holes for the straps ect. I have the allettes and think they are amazing covers.

I had the exact same black seat covers as in your pics. They were brand new in February, when I bought the jeep, and I have since replaced the fronts with Bestop covers. The top of the back seat cover has almost faded white, but I'm leaving it in for now cause my labrador cruises with me.
Are these things washable?

Yea, if you leave the top off a lot then I would look into something different.
