Seat covers worth it?

I just bought an 03 TJ. I wanted to buy seat covers for it, but they're pretty expensive. Are seat covers (looking at Wet Okole) worth the price? And are they waterproof?
Thanks!

I have neoprene covers & they make me sweat really bad & they're not water proof. But on the good side they protect the seat material from wear & sun fade.

Talk about sweating,,,, my 97 sport had vinyl seats and I would sweat like crazy. I bought the coverkings and it was much better than without. My 2005 has cloth seats which are in great shape. The PO had some brand of Neo seat covers, I'm not sure what they are but they are not as thick as what I had on the 97. I'm leaving them on though because they will protect my cloth seats.

I have Coverking seat covers and I like them... a lot. Not only do they look great, they hold up to anything we can throw at them and that includes two wets dogs and a lot of beach sand. Every one says they are hot, sticky and uncomfortable. I found that they are not that at all. They protect my original seat cloth and that is good enough for me. If you go with Coverking, pay the few extra dollars and have the "Jeep" insignia stitched into the headrest. Looks great.

Yeah I had the Jeep logo in mine as well. Quadratec had a sale when I bought them and I got the rear seat free. I had the spice in that 97 and the tan coverkings didn't match as well as I would have liked but other than that I say thumbs up.
