Seat removal

In the process of removing the thin crappy layer of bed liner the po put in my TJ, can anyone point me in the direction or directions to remove the passenger seat for now?

Remove the front two bolts. Slide forward lift the covers over the rear bolts and remove them

Just take out the four bolts that secure it.

If you happen to have flip and fold seats, you'll need to pull the flip lever underneath in order to reach the rear bolts.

sorry for reviving an old thread but...the rear bolts on the passenger seat, i saw that the right side rear has a nut on the bottom accessed from underneath the tub, but i didn't see if the left side had a nut as well?? the right side was pretty well rusted and i haven't attempted removing it yet because i couldn't see if the left side had a nut or not

The nuts should be welded to the body. If yours is a loose nut? Someone must have broken, drilled out and replaced the original. If it is the rear, inside nut/bolt it needs to be bigger than the other 3 since it anchors the seatbelt.
