Selling Jeep In the New Future

Hi there, I got a good deal on a different car, but it needs a little work, and isn't done yet. I'm having trouble paying for gas in the jeep. I'm trying to find what seems reasonable for my jeep. It's stock more or less, with a auto 4 cylinder. It's got a brand new rampage top on. Need exhaust work (might fix that), and a brake proportioning valve. Also a little tiny bit of rust work to be perfect. Does 3,500 seem reasonable? Or is that going to be too high? I'm listing it in a few weeks. Oh, and it has 185k. Feedback would be great!

For a 97 in Vermont I would try a little higher. Ya got some snow so everyone is thinking about winter.

You think? There is not hardtop, which makes me a little nervous. Feel like that might really turn some people off.

Try to fix the brake and exhaust problem and sell it for $5000. Shoot higher and let somebody haggle you down so you both win.

I find the best time to sell a 4wd vehicle is after a few bad snowstorms and people that never had a 4wd vehicle will do anything to get one.

I agree with fixing the brakes and exhaust. No body wants to buy a broken car. And clean the jeep up! Be proud of it when you show it.

Jeep is really clean currently, and is still totally functional. Need the money at this point, and don't have the time to be making this one back to perfect show room condition! Brakes work, just the light is on. They are still totally functional!
