why u seling it? sounds like a good price.. I was thinking about selling mines due to insurance and gas.. I drive a lot and gas kills me. then I thought, what car am I going to buy that, I at least like, that will not cost the same.
S2000: no space, and high inurance.
Honda accord: to plain.
Another pickup: same gas problem
Crysler sebring: convertable but, Old folks car
Mustang Convertable: NEWER ONES TOO EXPENSIVE; older ons runs like shit, and end up spending money to make it run and look nice, and drive fast.
I should have kept my mazda 2200 before the jeep.. but I remember why I sold it, and bought the jeep.. It is embarrassing to drive to parties, go to family gatherings (girl side). and friends driving newer cars.. But honestly I could have saved a lot of money and I did not mind driving an old beat up truck.. I just tell myself % more years and the jeep is mines.. sorry for the rant/advice.
I think you are a bit on the lower side myself. Two months ago, I purchased a 1998 with 94k miles, 4.0, 5 speed, 4" RC lift and new 33's for $8k. I live in AL and the market may be different down here. Before I purchased the Jeep, I called the bank to check what book value was. The bank would loan up to $9300 for my Jeep. However, the most effective way to find the true market value for your Jeep is to go to autotrader. com, do a detailed search within 200 milles of your zip and see what other comparable make and models are priced at. You have a good looking Jeep, if you decide to sell- GOOD LUCK!
not an exact reference point, but somewhat close...
last April, i sold my 02 TJ Sport, 4.0L, 5spd, 3" lift, 33" BFGs, 50k miles, black on black like yours, hard and soft tops, full hard doors, etc. for $13,000. mine had less mileage, but pretty close otherwise between my jeep and yours.
Due like me I have a 91 eagle talon POS gets 30 mpg that I can drive if Gas is an issue. Lucky for me my company pays for my gas I also have a v-rod that gets 20-30 mpg as well the jeep gets 13 mpg but I like so I drive it everyday.
2003 Wrangler TJ
All stock for now!
I am thinking of not riding my jeep and just insure my bike to ride untill I found a job.. since gas is way less.. Its killing me not finding work.. But I plan on going to yosemite next month which requires a jeep. and wearing suits for job interviews; ironc.
