Shifter Knob

My name is Brian. I have a 2004 Jeep Wrangler X manual. I'm wanting to change my shifter knob. How do I take the stock one off? Thanks for your input.

I wish they kept the threaded shifter knobs on JK's. I had a very hard time getting mine off because they are press on now.

I couldn't agree more. It just seems like it would be easier if they kept all the shifter knobs that way.
