How do you guys ship things across states? Little and big? I have a guy wanting to buy my old canyons and the cheapest shipping I found is UPS ground for $135. is there anything cheaper?
USPS Flat Rate if its small. Haven't really shipped anything as big as wheels. Is 135 for one big package? Maybe cheaper for individual packages. I just checked and cheapest would be $40 per wheel with USPS.
Try shipping through Fastenal. Large items are just strapped to a pallet and shipped very reasonable. I had a steel bumper for my Tacoma shipped last yr from Washington to Tx for about $90. It takes longer than other shipping services but it's cheaper and easier.
I 2nd Neil on the bus route for a cheaper option, but outside of effort on your end I wouldn't worry too much if they're paying shipping cost. $135 isn't terrible for a set of wheels, especially for 5.
