I need soft riding shock that is also good offroading and alot of daily driving. I have a 2004 jeep wrangler with a 4 inch lift and these skyjacker shocks are killing me
Ha, I was just getting ready to reply with don't use SkyCrapper. I'm going with new shocks this spring hopefully. I'm probably going with the rancho 9000 adjustables. If money is still tight I may have to change that. Who knows, a lot can change before I buy.
Ordered mine from them yesterday. Hope to get them at least by next weekend. I used my wife's GY tire rebate I forgot about that came in the mail to put towards them. I'm looking forward to a softer ride than the SJ Hydros I have.
I finished installing mine today and took it for a test drive on some bumpy roads. I'm not sure what setting to put it on so I started with 1 on all corners. I thought that was a bit too soft as I wobbled around corners. I then tried 5 up front and it was better in regards to the swaying around turns, but leaving the back on 1 caused me to bounce when I stopped. I'm going to set the back to 4-5 tomorrow and test again.
