Shocks

I want to replace my front shocks with the bilstein 5100s everybody raves about. Can anybody tell me exactly which ones I need for a 2005 TJ with a 2 in. spacer lift?

Thanks. I believe what you're saying but I'm kind of stubborn. In today's day and time I'm not dealing with anybody that won't take the time to set up a simple website with at least who their company is and how to contact them. Its so simple and cheap there is really no excuse not have a website.

I understand, but, it is very simple to order from him.
I sent him a PM, got a pay pal invoice, paid it and had my shocks few weeks later.
Just got another set of shocks for my F150 as well a few days ago as well from him, couldn't be happier.

I also ordered a set of 5100 from Kolak Performance. He knows Jeeps and Bilstein shocks and will get you the right shocks. His prices are excellent. Very simple to order. PM or email him and he will send you a PayPal invoice. I did have to wait almost a month for Bilstein to to make the shocks. They were on National back order. Did not have anything to do with Kolak, As a matter of fact Kolak kept me updated whenever I called or emailed him.

The 5100 were a little harsh for the first few miles, I actually thought I had made a mistake. They got MUCH better after a couple of hundred of miles. I also replaced my old springs with new +1" H&R springs so not really apples to apples but I think the 5100 would perform excellent no matter what spring you run. Mine are like night and day better over very rough roads or city streets. Much better control and ride. I actually take for granted how good my suspension is now. I just drove a friend's TJ with Monroe SensaTrack shocks back to back with mine. I used to have SensaTracs also and they are a lot better then the stock shocks. The stock shocks used to bounce all over the place. My 5100 are much-much better the SensaTrac, no comparison. It is one of the best things I have ever done so for, I wished I had bought the 5100 sooner. Well worth it no matter who you end up buying from.

I have to highly recommend Kolak though. Do a search, he has been around for a while.

Good Luck.

My Chiropractor actually recommended the 5100's and I am glad he did. I was running RC 2.2s before. They ride incredible with 35" tires and RC springs. Send Kolak a e-mail, you will be glad you did.

Remember, the 5100s are kind of harsh for the first 4-5 miles and get better with each mile. They are exceptional after a few hundred miles. Which springs are you going with?
