Found this kinda odd last night. I was on about three different websites looking for a few last pieces to my OBA setup.
I wanted an air PSI gauge for the cab and new switches so my OBA and windshield lights switches matched, and a pod to mount them into.
After I found what I wanted I went looking for some free shipping codes, or % off codes and couldn't find any so I was just going to go back and buy full on retail. Instead of rooting through my history on the computer I did a quick google search to find my part by name, knowing that the ALL KNOWING AND GREAT GOOGLE ( you have to say that real loud and churchly like , because they are listening and will one day rule the world
) would show recent websites in my history first.
Low and behold under the shopping tab was the part I was wanting, with a price and free shipping next to it. when i clicked it it took me straight to the quadratec website shopping cart and where it had just 10 minutes before said 7.99 shipping, said free...with no codes used by me.
Same thing happened to me when i went after the gauge I was wanting. Found it on my own on a website, then searched it by name through the ALL KNOWING AND GREAT GOOGLE (
), and under the shopping tab it was over 65% off and free shipping.
So long story short, if you cant find a deal like you know has to be out there, use a search engine to look JUST at the part you are wanting, and it may be available at the same website for a cheaper or free shipping price.
I dont know how web design works these days but its amazing how you can be on a stores website, see the price from their company, then search it and find it at the same website, for cheaper
at any rate, I'm
