Should they stay or should they go?

Hey guys, when I bought my TJ it came with those black plastic diamond plate covers for the front fenders. I think they were put on because the passenger side fender looks a little tweaked and maybe slightly crushed in. But other than that they really don't serve any purpose. Unless of course the fender underneath looks bad, do y'all think I should keep these on the Jeep or take them off?? Thanks! Here's a pic.

Looks more aggresive if you leave them on. Besides the black and yellow look is really working for you.

Not sure what other Jeepers think, but I think your rig would look great with black rims to match the yellow and black theme you got going there. Also, since you asked, I am not a big fan of the WRANGLER sticker. Both are just my opinion tho. Keep on Jeepin!

Normally I would say no, but the black really looks good with the Yellow. I vote for them to stay!

Very "tough looking rig" I wouldn't change a thing. Just wish I was younger so I could "lift" mine and still be able to crawl my old butt up in it.

You should get black rims with a yellow lip. That would look nice!

Keep the covers, looks better. Also if you take them off the paint might be brighter than the rest.

Okay thanks for the opinions guys!! I'll be keeping them! But I'll probably take them off and install them correctly because the PO failed to do so. The turn signal is supposed to sit on top of the black lip lol. But I'm getting black wheels with a silver lip for Christmas! I can't wait! And about the sticker, I didn't put it on. I've thought about removing it but the paint underneath may be brighter or something because I'm not sure how long they've been on. But they have started to grow on me though. I'll probably leave them until they start coming off or causing problems.

Not a big fan of those but they look good on your jeep, keep them. I also like the "WRANGLER" sticker on the side of the hood. I haven't seen that before. I like the font. Are they aftermarket or stock?

I like em... keep em... Not sure how much freeway driving you do... my fenders right there get and have a lot of rock chips, as does the lip of my hood. I added the deflector to the hood for this reason and seriously thinking of adding these to mine to save the paint a bit.

Thanks! I'm pretty sure they are aftermarket. They were already on the Jeep when I bought it. But I've never seen any like it before and that's one reason I kinda like them, because it's unique.

That's a good point. They will save the paint from rock chips as well as scratches from branches and bushes in the woods!
