Shudder on take off

00 tj auto shudders on take off. Some times does down shift to first gear and flares between shifts. Anyone have any ideas before i ditch trans.

Make sure its not something simple like a bad u-joint.

No this is definitly trans issue. All shafts are new. Trans had 32 k on it but sat for5 years. Ran great till i wheeled it a couple times

ok...so aside from trying to change the trans fluid to see if that resolves it, looks like you have already concluded that it's a trans issue. What do you need us for?

Just seeing if anybodys seen it or knows what might be bad inside before i tear it apart.simple band adjust or valve body or what ever. Just looking for info
