Side Steps

Hey guys, taking a look at my Tj and im not really fond of the side steps. PLUS i wear khaki pants for school everyday and once in a while i get a black streak when i get out. Has anyone else removed them? Id like to see what it looks like. Just a couple of bolts and its gone. Might be the thing im doing this weekend.

It looks much better, offers more clearance off-road, and neither my dog nor my gf used them getting in.

Three of the bolts are easy, one is more obnoxious. Undo what you can then tilt the step on the last bolt to give yourself more clearance.
