Question Side Steps

Hey guyz, Need some help, please.
My '02 Jeep Sport did not come from the factory with the side steps. I found some on Ebay that are off an '03 Wrangler. Will these work WITHOUT doing in mods (drilling, etc)? I know I'll need to get the little insert thingys.

They should work just fine.

If there's a will, usually there's a way, but then you get to that bolt that you still can't get to with two extensions, two universal sockets, and a contorsionist midget trying to help you.

1999 XJ Four door, mostly stock for now, but I am in the process of building a custom plate bumper.

I wouldn't pay for them. If you are patient you might find someone willing to give them to you for the cost of shipping. I would give you mine but I broke them off wheelin

I just purchased a pair of Mopar side steps for my 06 Jeep and the paperwork said it fits 2001 to 2004 jeeps. It fit my 06 like a glove and was very easy to install. No drilling was required. It came with all the hardware needed. The only thing missing wast the direction on how to install them. I went back to the webpage were I order the parts and downloaded the instructions. Feel free to PM if you have any questions.

Kewl, Thanks Mac-K and BJ.
BTW, Pm'd ya BJ.

Wonder why in the heck they put steps on the SE models (some of them ne'ways), I thought they were a 'Base' model.
Mine is the Sport model and it has NOTHING there. I guess it's just whatever the dealership order's them with.
