Silencer System?

Anyone have the Silencer System installed on their Jeep? The claim is that it reduces the interior noise. It's only $35. It attached with adhesive to the top of the windshield frame. I wonder if it will stay put or will go flying off some day while you're driving down the highway.

No, but it looks interesting. Let me know if you order. Post your experience and if there's any difference. I might give this a try since I do some high speed highway miles.

I called the company and left a message. I asked about how well the acrylic piece stays put.

I wanna see this installed on a TJ... not just a JK

How is gonna sit flush with the rubber lip on the top of the frame?

They have a front pic of one... but its not a side profile like they show on the JK... THATS the pic I wanna see....

If they use the same tape that Lund and others use for their window rain deflectors there will be no issue with the product flying off at highway speed. You can't get one of those off without breaking it.

The windshield header for the LJ Trektop NX has about the same rise and shape as that does. I don't see how that could ever fit on the TJ.

I wonder what the purpose is for adding the additional strip under the front of the top where it meets the windshield frame. The silencer is in front of it. Also, would the strip make the top harder to latch? Just my thoughts after watching the video. If Coley reports back that it works I am ready to buy.

Thumbs up Hi from The Silencer.

Hey Guys,

I want very much to answer all of your questions here, but since I am not a vendor, The moderators get a little testy. If you would like your questions answered, please send PM me. Or send an email to my website.

I have many happy TJ owners out there. I am sure you will be also.

Thanks

I also noticed on the website they have pictures of two different samples. One is flat and one is formed around the corners. Took a good look at my TJ and TnDz TJ is correct I do not see how it will fit on our TJ's.

I got my Silencer System today and I hope to get it installed on Saturday. Looks pretty simple and it rests against the header of the TJ…. not sure I like that idea. Might be an issue with rubbing on the soft top and/or taking the top up and down. I'll find out and let you know. I also have a decibel app that I'd like to try before and after.

It's easy......You want to use the forum to promote your products pay the stipend and become a vendor. No different than running TV or radio time. You pay to advertise.

And with all the peeps waiting patiently with CC in hand for Coley, it would be worth the cost to get that money rolling in faster

You guys are right. I want to become a vendor. I submitted my info to the forum. Now let's see if I can afford the price. Remember I am a very small business still so all of my money is put back into this. I hope I can become a vendor, because I do like being a member and reading all of the interesting things people post about.
