Skid Row Offroad Top Prop

Hey everyone,
I am possibly looking at getting this to hold the water off my jeep. This is one reason why I hate Quadratec not having a customer review . So I'm hoping someone out there has had this or has it currently and to tell me if it's a good purchase or not. Here's the link to it: Skid Row Offroad JP-0106 - Skid Row Offroad Top Prop™ for 87-06 Jeep® Wrangler YJ, TJ & Unlimited - Quadratec

Thanx in advance

It'd probably work fine, but looks like a $40 fiberglass stick to me.

Yea it looks fairly cheap also from what I've seen. So I'm now curious what could I do to help the rain roll off instead of pooling on top?

Someone here made one out of PVC pipe and it worked well. Maybe someone has a link to it.

Hopefully they will post it. Because yep, I would love to have something like that for my safari top, especially now since it's been torrential rain the past couple nights.

I have/had one. I got it not because of water pooling but to try to kee some of the thundering noise from the top flappind down.

It worked at first but as the fabric streatched out, the fabric started tapping against the prop which became anoying so I stopped using it. Also it made the top look funny with a buldge in the front.

The new Bestop NX tops come with a rod like it but have foam on the rod where it meets the top which I should try
