Skinny Pedal...

What the heck is that? From the circumstances surrounding the use of the term, it makes me think it's something like not lifting off the throttle when trying to clear an obstacle instead of a slow and steady approach. Just wondering what the real meaning is and maybe why it's called that. Thanks!

Your gas pedal is oft referred to as the "skinny pedal." The folks I wheel with also refer to it as the "stupid pedal" from time to time!

The skinny pedal should actually be referred to as the "skinny back pedal". It refers to what you do when you give the wrong answer when the little woman asks. "Does this make me look fat?"

It's called the skinny pedal to differentiate it from the wider brake pedal.

It means you need to get off the Jerry Bransford and hammer down on the gas pedal. Usually they refer to you as princess or cupcake or something similar. I like to say, "Put the purse down and hit it princess!"

You see how it works.
