Question Skyjacker

asking for opinions.
I currently run PRO COMP fixed lower control arms.
the bushings are rooted . but to replace these bushings Im looking at around the $200AUD shipped to m y door.
SO I called the local SKYJACKER importer.. who said he can supply me with complete lower fixed control arms. for around $150aud shipped to my door.
I personally dont know anyone who runs skyjacker gear over here..
so Im asking what you guys think??
(the replacement bushings for the skyjacker control arms is about the same price.. but front and rears.)

Cheaper isn't always the right answer. I went down that road with a 2-1/2" RE Standard Duty lift. Sure wish I had spent the extra couple of bucks for the extreme duty.

Now I have to start over and will be out the $$ for two lifts unless I can find someone who wants the standard duty.

edit: reread.

i have actually heard mixed reviews of skyjacker. some say the heim joints (i think) are weak and they have some other crap. but others really enjoy the lifts. but i see a lot of people dissing them.

i think most of the issues with skyjacker was with the control arms. i think it was those heim joints but im not sure.

H.G., I'm not usually a fan of Skyjacker, but in this case I will tell you to make the switch. Those pro comp arms you have are notorious for blowing the bushings out on them and even cracking your mounts because they allow no flex at all.

Yer in a perfect world Id like to completely get rid of the pro comp lift and replace it with something with a better reputation(here in australia)
I like the look of the JKS arms.. that have a 360 pivot.. but have also heard they are high maintenence.
Im after low maintainence.
I also think they put my pro comp arms in upside down..
as there are no grease nipples in them.. but the holes are actually facing the ground.
I really need to learn how to throw spanners so I can do things myself.
