Skyjacker Transmission Oil Pan for 32RH transmission

I just purchased a Skyjacker Transmission Oil Pan and I am ready to install it but I don’t know what the circled item is for in the attached photo?

seal for a drain plug?

That's what I thought at first but the drain bolt already has either a silicone or rubber coating around the collar of the plug, I would think the additional off-set of the washer between the plug and pan would just create another path of fluid to leak from?

have you called skyjacker to ask them? i would figure there would be a parts list with their product that you should be able to figure out what it is.

Did you ever figure it out?? Ive got the same pan, same plastic washer, same Idk look on my face!!

That funny shaped washer goes around the drain plug, despite the thin silicone seal on the plug which by itself isn't enough to seal it.

I believe you, and that's the way I'm going to install it, but it looks like it would be atleast the same diameter!
